Helena is a third-year student of the Masters Degree in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy with Turning Point Institute and University College Cork. She is a student member of The Irish Association of Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapists.

Before embarking on her psychotherapeutic studies, Helena spent the past two decades in education, working as a maths teacher in second level and more recently as a school guidance counsellor.

Helena believes in the Rogerian approach, that the client is the expert in their life and that each individual has the desire and capacity for personal growth and change. She sees her role as non-directive and aspires to create a safe, non-judgemental and accepting environment for her clients.
